Beyond Evergreen

This is the section of our site where we explore outside interests and other
fun stuff. Maybe we should rename this The Evergreen Lunch Break! Have fun,
and let us know what you think!

Carl's Blog: Formerly known as Carl's Corner, this blog is devoted to
musings and discussions on a range of topics relating to the Wide Format
market. Click on Carl's Blog to have a look.

Imaginary Voyage: Carl has worked with special effects and musical lighting
for many years. More recently, he has created a lighting control system that
is operated in much the same way one would play an electronic organ. Through
a variety of MIDI devices, specialized light control equipment, and hundreds
of programming hours; Carl has created what he has dubbed "The Visionarium."
This rig enables the operator to "play" the light system in harmony with the
music being performed. More information about what Carl is up to with his light system may be found by clicking on Imaginary Voyage above.

Hamilton Arts Collective: When not spending time with his family, one of
Carl's favorite past-times is volunteering at the Hamilton Arts Collective
(HAC.) This organization is dedicated to bringing the arts together with
local residents of Baltimore. HAC is also assisting in the revitalization of
the local community by sponsoring arts activities that draw from surrounding
areas, and feed the local businesses of the Hamilton area. Serving on the
board of directors, Carl is also one of the resident techno geeks at HAC. It
is fitting then that HAC should be the home of Carl's lighting system.
Musical performances on the HAC stage are complemented by Carl's
Visionarium, which makes for a very unique entertainment experience. To find out more (or better yet, make a donation!) check out HAC by selecting Hamilton Arts Collective above.
